Meet Lexi

LEXI GREW UP IN BOOTS, RUNNING THROUGH ORCHARDS, RIDING TRACTORS, AND FISHING IN THE SIERRAS.

She watched her parents raise fruit from bare soil, sustain a business, grow a family, and support their community. Brought up in the long uncertain days, dust, and sweat of a farming family, Lexi learned to embrace hard work, savor life and give back to others.

Raised in a fifth-generation California farming family, Lexi has worked in agriculture
since childhood.

Lexi has spent the last 10 years focused on political advocacy for agricultural development in El Dorado County.

As a mother of two creative children, Lexi’s passion for creating a stable, healthy, and more equitable future is all the more personal. Just like many in our community, Lexi understands that we need to do more to address rising county expenses and the cost of living.

Everyone in our community should have the basic right to housing, whether they are young families, single parents, or seniors on a fixed income.

AS AN EL DORADO COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSIONER, LEXI HAS SEEN THE CHALLENGES FACING RESIDENTS AND IS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING AND STREAMLINING OUR COUNTY BUREAUCRATIC PROCESSES.

Lexi has worked closely with individuals and businesses as they struggle to navigate complicated and frustrating county policies and processes. As an advocate for rural economic development and citizen's private property rights, she will fight to clear barriers for the small businesses and mom-and-pop's trying to build their dreams or improve their land.

In her positions with the El Dorado Winery Association and the Community Economic Development Advisory Committee (CEDAC), Lexi has developed an understanding of the needs of the business community and open space industries to develop a stronger economic base that preserves our natural landscape.

“As I was growing up here, it never occurred to me that this magical life would ever face the risks it does now. Looking ahead, what I see is heartbreaking. We must find our courage, believe in our community, and plan honestly—facing circumstances head-on. The future is coming, and we are not at all prepared.”
